The Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL) is one of Nepal’s popular franchise-based cricket tournaments, designed to promote professional cricket and provide a bigger platform for emerging players across the country. Known for its competitive spirit and enthusiastic fanbase, DPL has played a key role in uplifting domestic cricket standards in Nepal.
Representing the Butwal–Rupandehi–Lumbini region, the Butwal Cricket Development Committee proudly fields its team, the “Rupandehi Challengers.” The team has participated in DPL with the goal of showcasing local talent, strengthening regional cricket, and giving young athletes greater exposure at the national level. Through Rupandehi Challengers, the committee continues its dedication to promoting cricket development and building a strong sporting identity for the region.
